Jimin's Fans Celebrate His Birthday with Heartwarming Blood Donation Relay

On October 13th, BTS member Jimin's fans marked his birthday in a truly impactful way by participating in a blood donation relay project, showcasing their dedication to both the idol and the community. Collaborating with the Korean Red Cross Seoul Central Blood Center and the Busan Blood Center, Jimin’s fans engaged in a campaign that ran from September 21st to October 13th, aiming to spread a positive influence while honoring their beloved idol.




The initiative saw an impressive turnout, with over 692 fans taking part in the blood donation relay. After accounting for ineligible participants, a total of 645 individuals successfully donated blood—292 at the Hongdae Center in Seoul, 16 at the Seoul Station Center, and 337 at the Seomyeon Center in Busan. This initiative is not a one-off event; since its inception in 2018, a remarkable total of 2,545 fans have participated in this life-saving campaign, which has taken place in the years 2018, 2020, 2023, and now 2024.




As a token of appreciation, the Korean Red Cross Seoul Central Blood Center and Busan Blood Center will award certificates to those who participated, as well as to Jimin himself, recognizing his role in promoting a culture of blood donation and altruism. Furthermore, to enhance the spirit of giving, Jimin’s fans donated 2,000 commemorative items to blood donors, further emphasizing the campaign’s commitment to community support.




The donation campaign is set to continue until October 21st, allowing even more fans the opportunity to contribute at the Hongdae Center, Seoul Station Center, and Seomyeon Center in Busan. The ongoing efforts underline not only the strength of Jimin's fanbase but also their desire to make a meaningful impact in the community.




Fans took to social media to express their excitement and pride in participating in such a noble cause. Comments flooded in, showcasing their admiration for Jimin and the collective effort of ARMYs (the name of BTS's fanbase) to honor him in a way that transcends mere celebration:
