The premiere of 'Tale of Lady Ok' on November 30, showcasing a thrilling Joseon-era story filled with secrets and loyalty





JTBC's highly anticipated new Sat-Sun drama, 'Tale of Lady Ok,' is set to premiere on November 30 at 10:30 PM KST.




Set against the backdrop of the Joseon era, 'Tale of Lady Ok' follows the gripping story of a slave who assumes a false identity as a lawyer from an aristocratic family and a loyal servant devoted to protecting his master.




Lim Ji Yeon stars as Lady Ok Tae Young, a clever runaway slave who reinvents herself as a member of the Ok family while guarding her secret. Choo Young Woo plays Chun Seung Hwi, the devoted servant who dedicates his life to safeguarding his mistress.




Joining the cast is Yeonwoo as Cha Mi Ryung, Ok Tae Young’s eager apprentice, and Kim Jae Won as Sung Do Gyeom, her brother-in-law. Veteran actors Sung Dong Il and Kim Mi Sook complete the ensemble, portraying Ok Tae Young's father-in-law and grandmother, respectively.
